THE ANXIETIES  son una banda de cuatro piezas de Portland, Oregon toquan un estilo de punk rock que se remonta a las TIC orígenes a finales de los 70 y principios de los 80. Originalmente la banda se formó en Eugene en 2002 de las cenizas de una banda de "thrash-pop" llamada  Wristrockets.
 El vocalista / guitarrista  Scott Von Rocket y el baterista Dylan Auf Kilter quería alejarse de la vertiginosa velocidades implacable de sus esfuerzos anteriores y volver a las raíces del hardcore punk rock
